To create a precise line, try an eyeliner that comes with a fine-point brush that makes application easier. Gently pull skin taut from the outer corner of your eye with one hand. Then with the other hand, paint along the lash line starting from the inner corner. When you reach the outer corner, extend the line diagonally up and out for a sexy 'winged' effect.

If you have shaky hands, try drawing three dashes instead of one continuous line, then go back and connect the dashes. Once you've established a clean base line, gradually fill in and build up from there. 

To correct any mistakes, a cotton bud dipped in eye makeup remover will easily erase any stray lines.

Finish with two to three coats of plumping mascara to get an eye-enhancing look.
